Bone-Appetite Banana Birthday Cake for Dogs

My French bulldog Frankie is 3 today!! She’s such a lovable, silly stinker and her favorite treat in the world is…BANANA. She comes running into the kitchen the second she gets whiff as you peel one open. I know, such a freak. So I wanted to make her an extra special birthday present and of course she was over the moon and gobbled it down in seconds.

Ingreients

3/4 c. (100g) gluten free flour

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp baking powder

pinch of cinnamon

1/3 c. (80ml) milk or yogurt

1 egg

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 T honey

1/2 a banana, mashed

Toppings: Greek yogurt, sliced banana and sprinkles

1/Preheat oven to 350f/180c. In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon. With a fork, whisk in the milk or yogurt, egg, olive oil, honey and banana till just mixed.

2/ Grease a small cake pan and pour in batter. Bake for 25-30 minutes or till a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely before decorating. WOOF!
